Tesla Guns

I am having so much fun researching the solarpunk book that I'm planning to write. And as an example of that, let me direct you to this video about a working Tesla Gun. I did not even know that that was a thing (not being a current player of Call of Duty). But I know now. The video is about 11 minutes long and it's all interesting, but if you want to cut to the good stuff then head for the 6 minute mark.

Of course, in my book it will be a Tesla Cannon, not a Tesla Gun. I believe this upgrade can be achieved by using some rare Handwaveium in the construction of the coil.
